Description
This full-day workshop will deep-dive into the dimensional world of wax. Participants will learn to incorporate materials such as twine, paper, leaves, clay, and, fabric with encaustic to create sculptural and extreme dimensional wall art or vessels. The possibilities are endless and only limited by your imagination. Students will complete and take home a finished dimensional piece in the form of wall art or vessel.
All professional encaustic paints, tools, and equipment will be provided.
This is an intermediate course and it is recommended participants have prior encaustic experience.
A list of suitable substrates and any extra supplies students may wish to bring will be emailed upon registration.
